Few gifts are as rewarding as one made to the AJCC Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) permanent
trust.
The AJCC Research Foundation has an extraordinary record of service to Jersey owners. It helped fund development of cheese yield and end-product pricing formulas; studies on feeding Jersey cattle and the work on copper toxicity; managing and preventing milk fever and mastitis; techniques for reducing Jersey calf mortality; and tools for genetic improvement and inbreeding management. Because of what we have learned from scientific studies supported by the AJCC Research Foundation, Jersey breeders have been able to develop the cow with the longest Productive Life in the dairy industry today.
The Foundation’s only expenses are for funded projects and related expenses and investment fees. It is the policy of the AJCC Research Foundation to fund projects only from investment income. The American Jersey Cattle Association provides administrative services for the Foundation at no fee.
The Internal Revenue Service recognizes the Foundation as an organization exempt from Federal Income Tax. This allows the Foundation to receive contributions that are tax deductible by donors. Bequests, legacies, devices, transfers or gifts assigned to the use of the AJCC Research Foundation are deductible for Federal estate and gift purposes
(Tax Exemption Federal ID Number 31-6067780).
Charitable contributions are gratefully accepted at any time. The amount you choose to contribute is up to you, but it will make a difference.
